Arsenal offered out of favour Real Madrid star
According to the Daily Star both Arsenal and Liverpool have been offered Fabio Coentrao by Real Madrid after Manchester United cooled their interest.
Coentrao has fallen out of favour at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and is struggling for game time as Marcelo is preferred at left-back in Carlo Ancelotti's starting XI. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); However, Madrid are in no rush to sell the Portugal international and have placed a rather daunting £25m price-tag on the defender.
This may prove to be too expensive for us, especially as frugal manager Arsene Wenger has already splashed out £15m on Gabriel Paulista in the January transfer window.
