Liverpool Transfer News: Thomas Lemar wants Anfield move over Arsenal
That is according to French football expert Matt Spiro. He tweeted: “Monaco accept #Arsenal's £90m bid for Thomas Lemar. However am told player would rather join #Liverpool.” Arsenal have been after Lemar as a possible replacement for Alexis Sanchez, if he is allowed to join Manchester City. But Liverpool have also been interested in signing the Monaco ace and had a £64.5m bid rejected earlier this week. Lemar's preference to Liverpool echoes Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's decision to turn down a move to Chelsea.
