Arsenal news: Jack Wilshere transfer talks confirmed by Trabzonspor chief
That is according to Trabzonspor chief Muharrem Usta, who claimed he personally held discussions with Wilshere about a season-long loan deal. Wilshere, 25, was heavily linked with a move away from Arsenal during the summer transfer window. West Ham, Newcastle, Swansea, Sampdoria, Fenerbahce and Antalyaspor were all interested in securing his signature. But it appears as if Trabzonspor came closest to getting a deal over the line for the Arsenal midfielder. However, club chief Usta revealed a deal collapsed at the last minute.
