Trabzonspor 'held direct talks' with Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere
Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta has confirmed that he spoke to Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere regarding a potential move in the summer. It was made clear by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger that he would listen to offers for the injury-plagued star, but no deals were agreed. Wilshere has had a torrid few seasons due to injury setbacks, but things appeared to be looking up when he made 27 Premier League appearances during a loan spell at Bournemouth during the 2016-17 campaign.
