Jack Wilshere 'confident' of reaching contract agreement
Jack Wilshere has insisted that he is "pretty sure" he will extend his stay at Arsenal by agreeing a new contract, but has reiterated that he wants to play more regularly. The 25-year-old has not hidden away from the fact that he is unhappy playing a bit-part role at the Emirates Stadium since returning from a loan spell with Bournemouth. Talks over a new deal, originally scheduled to take place in early December, have since been pushed back after a rumoured impasse in talks between the club and player.
