Arsenal news: Alexis Sanchez contract bombshell revealed
Arsenal and Sanchez have been in contract negotiations for at least 18 months but with his deal ending next June, it is highly likely the Chilean will not renew. And it means Arsenal face losing Sanchez on a free transfer next summer or sell in January in a bid to recoup a cut-price fee. Arsenal were prepared to sell Sanchez to Manchester City in the summer but they were unable to sign a replacement after making a move for Monaco’s Thomas Lemar. PA
