Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere: 'No progress with new deal'
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has said that there has been "no progress" regarding a new contract at the Emirates Stadium. Earlier this season, manager Arsene Wenger challenged Wilshere - who has just six months remaining on his existing deal - to prove his fitness before talks could get underway. However, Wilshere has now completed 90 minutes in five successive Premier League fixtures, including on Wednesday night when the 25-year-old netted in the 2-2 draw with Chelsea. Wilshere has now made 13 starts and six substitute appearances in all competitions this season, but the playmaker has told Sky Sports that there have been no developments with his future.
