Jack Wilshere to take Arsenal wage cut?
Arsenal are reportedly to enter fresh contract talks with midfielder Jack Wilshere but have warned him that he may have to accept a wage cut if he stays at the Emirates. The 26-year-old is out of contract at the end of the current campaign and had been tipped for the exit, but a turnaround in opportunities and form in the last month is thought to have convinced Gunners boss Arsene Wenger that he is deserving of a new deal. The England international's current wage is thought to be around £90,000 a week, but that base pay packet is estimated to rise to the equivalent of £120,000 when bonuses are factored in.
