Arsenal news: Jermain Defoe makes big Jack Wilshere demand

Jack Wilshere has been a regular in the Arsenal side this year
Wilshere has not played for England for nearly two years due to injury and non-selection. The Arsenal man was included in the squad for the two friendlies with Netherlands and Italy last week but pulled out due to a minor knee problem. His hopes of going to the World Cup now hang in the balance with no more friendlies scheduled before Gareth Southgate names his preliminary squad for the tournament. Defoe played his part in England’s qualification campaign, scoring once in his two appearances.
