Arsenal hero makes Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette transfer claim
That’s the verdict of former Gunners star Charlie Nicholas, who admits his old side will miss the Gabon international when they face CSKA Moscow on Thursday night. Arsenal handed Borussia Dortmund a club-record transfer fee of £56m when they snapped up Aubameyang during the January transfer window. The 28-year-old’s arrival at the Emirates led to question marks being raised about Lacazette’s position in Arsene Wenger’s first-team plans. However, Nicholas reckons Aubameyang was signed to play with, rather than instead of, the Frenchman.
