Unai Emery website 'confirms Arsenal appointment'
Unai Emery's official website has seemingly prematurely confirmed his appointment as Arsenal manager. Emery is expected to be officially named as Arsene Wenger's successor later this week after emerging as a late favourite to land the job ahead of Manchester City assistant Mikel Arteta. The 46-year-old's website now appears to have confirmed the news before the club, with a graphic reading "Proud to be part of the Arsenal family" appearing, only to be deleted later on Tuesday night.
