Arsenal knocked back in pursuit of winger Gelson Martins?
Gelson Martins has been left furious after Sporting Lisbon rejected an offer from Arsenal, according to a report. The 23-year-old recently emerged as a attacking top target for the Gunners, potentially on a free transfer due to uncertainty regarding his contract. Arsenal would more likely have to pay close to £40m to sign the Portugal international, though, and A Bola suggests that their opening offer has fallen some way short of that asking price.
