‘Pre-season tests will help our consistency’
Emma Mitchell is relishing testing herself against Europe’s strongest sides. The Scotland international completed the full 90 minutes of our 5-0 win over Juventus Women on Sunday – and she’s now set to face Montpellier and Paris Saint-Germain at the Toulouse International Ladies Cup this coming weekend. “We need to compete against the best teams in Europe to see where we’re at and what our levels are,” Mitchell told Arsenal.com. “But I thought we played brilliantly against Juventus, so it’s a good stepping stone moving in for the start of the season. “I think it would be nice to see some squad rotation so that everyone can get 90 minutes, but also some consistency in...
