Internationals: Mead and Miedema assist
We had nine Gunners in international action on Tuesday. Read on to find out who was involved and how they fared: Danielle van de Donk, Dominique Bloodworth and Vivianne Miedema all featured in Netherlands’ 1-1 draw with Denmark on Tuesday, as they secured their spot in the 2019 Women’s World Cup qualifying play-off final. The hosts surprisingly took the lead in the fifth minute after Nadia Nadim converted from the spot, but less than two minutes later, the Netherlands equalised through Lineth Beerensteyn.
