Arsenal Target Raheem Sterling To Reject Liverpool Contract Offer
It has been reported that Raheem Sterling does not want to sign a new contract at Liverpool. Sources have reportedly told Sky Sports that the 20-year old England international winger has no intentions of putting pen to an extension with the Reds. Sterling is due to meet with manager Brendan Rodgers and chief executive Ian Ayre later in the week to discuss his Anfield future but he will decline a new deal. According to Sky, Sterling is furious that previous offers have been leaked to the press and feels the Merseyside club have not helped protect him from negative headlines in the media.
