Tottenham can kickstart trophy run with Champions League win – Mourinho
Jose Mourinho believes Tottenham could go on a trophy spree if they can win the Champions League final next week. Mauricio Pochettino’s side take on Liverpool in the final in Madrid on June 1. In an interview with Sky Sports, Mourinho – who has won the Champions League twice – feels that success against Liverpool could be the first of many trophies for Spurs. “Of course, Spurs is not winning titles and to win the first one, the biggest one of all, would be, of course, fantastic and would mean to win other domestic trophies (is easier) because the Champions League is the biggest one of all,” Mourinho said.
