Arsenal to face Barcelona Women in pre-season
We can confirm that we’re set to face Barcelona Femeni at Meadow Park on Wednesday, August 14, in preparation for the 2019/20 season. Barcelona broke the record for the largest crowd at a women’s game in March 2019, with 60,739 fans in attendance for their clash with Atletico Madrid. The Spanish champions have 15 International players involved in the World Cup this year, including ex-Arsenal player, Asisat Oshoala. Supporters will also have the opportunity to see the Women’s Super League trophy, which will be available for fans to have their photograph taken with pre-match.
