At 5pm on 8th August the transfer window shuts for Premier League buyers. Three days later Arsenal will take on Newcastle United in the opening game of the 2019/20 season. The summer, as far as football is concerned, is nearly over. Over the weekend I started thinking about the club’s priorities for the next three weeks and I began making a list.
