Montemurro gives the latest on McCabe
Joe Montemurro says Katie McCabe’s substitution at half-time against Liverpool was only a precaution. The Republic of Ireland international was replaced by Leonie Maier after picking up a knock to her ankle in the first half. But post-match, Montemurro was quick to clear up the situation. “She was feeling her ankle,” our head coach explained. “She just over stretched the inside part of her ankle and she couldn’t get any power so we decided it wasn’t worth risking so we took her off.” Copyright 2019 The
