Walti – Everything around the club is perfect
Lia Walti’s decision to sign a new long-term contract was an easy one. The Switzerland international joined us from Turbine Potsdam back in July 2018 - and she’s since made 32 appearances for the club, cementing her place as one of the Women’s Super League’s finest defensive midfielders. “It feels great and it’s still such an honour for me to play for this club,” Walti said. “I was asking myself, why should I leave a place where I’m happy? “I’m really enjoying playing football here, so there was no reason for me to leave from this side, also I really enjoy playing with Joe.
