Arsenal's William Saliba voted France's hottest prospect in 95,000 person poll
Arsenal defender William Saliba has been voted France football’s hottest prospect. In a poll that attracted 95,000 votes, the France youth international and Saint-Etienne loanee came out on top of a list that included Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard and RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano. Saliba passed through various stages and received 56 per cent of votes in the final, to the delight of Arsenal supporters. The 19-year-old is set to be introduced into the Gunners senior squad next season after another impressive season in Ligue 1, and he could act as a direct replacement for the outgoing David Luiz.
