Arsenal ‘receive promise’ from RB Leipzig over Dayot Upamecano transfer
Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign Dayot Upamecano after RB Leipzig informed AC Milan that the defender will move to the Emirates. The French centre-back has attracted interest from several of Europe’s top clubs over the last few months after some impressive displays in the Bundesliga. Manchester United and Bayern Munich continue to be linked with a move, as do Serie A giants AC Milan and the Gunners. Arsenal have long been looking for a world class centre-back to help shore up their defence and the 21-year-old would provide the perfect tonic.
