Arsenal turn to £21m La Liga midfielder as Schneiderlin alternative
It's no secret that we are on the lookout for a defensive midfielder this summer, and The Times claim Arsene Wenger is turning his attention back to an old target of ours – Grzegorz Krychowiak. Arsenal news The Polish international only moved to Sevilla at the start of the season, but has been superb in La Liga since his switch from Ligue 1 side Stade de Reims. The Times report that we are looking at Krychowiak as an alternative to Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin, as not only is the reported fee of £25m too much for Wenger, but we are also facing competition from Tottenham and Manchester United (Via the Daily Mail).
