Arsenal and Man Utd respond to Ainsley Maitland-Niles transfer link
Both Arsenal and Manchester United have reportedly rubbished claims from Germany that Ainsley Maitland-Niles is close to making the move to Old Trafford. Sport1 reporter Florian Plettenburg wrote on Twitter: 'To my information #MUFC wants @MaitlandNiles! Deal and paperwork’s are up to 80% already. 'Transfer with the English national should be completed in the next days (22m + add ons). @ManUtd needs reinforcements.' The move would be an unlikely one and separate reports citing sources at both Arsenal and United have claimed there is no truth to the rumour. Goal say the Gunners have dismissed the report as 'pure speculation, while the Manchester Evening News say United there is 'nothing'...
