Chelsea's Jorginho says that he was 'open' to joining Arsenal
Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has revealed that he was "open to negotiations" with Arsenal amid rumoured interest from the Gunners during the summer transfer window. The Italy international was strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge over the summer, and Arsenal were said to be considering him as an alternative to Lyon's Houssem Aouar. Mikel Arteta's side ultimately activated Thomas Partey's release clause to sign the Ghana international from Atletico Madrid, but Jorginho has said that he would have been willing to hold discussions with the capital club.
