Arsenal charged with breaching agents' regulations over Calum Chambers transfer
Arsenal and the football agent Alan Middleton have been charged for an alleged breach of Football Association regulations over the £16 million transfer last summer of Calum Chambers from Southampton. It is understood that a complaint was made by a disgruntled third party and is believed to relate to the fee that was paid as part of the deal to the agent. • Arsenal move closer to signing Jackson Martinez There were no issues between the two clubs and negotiations, which were largely handled by Les Reed for Southampton and Dick Law for Arsenal, were said to be smooth and amicable.
