Samuel Umtiti to leave Barcelona on loan in January?
Samuel Umtiti could reportedly leave Barcelona on loan during the January transfer window. The France international made his first appearance of the 2020-21 campaign against Juventus on Tuesday night, featuring as a substitute in his side's 3-0 loss. Umtiti had been on the sidelines with knee issues, but he could now be given regular minutes ahead of the winter transfer window as Gerard Pique is out with a long-term injury. According to Sport, Barca want to build up the centre-back's game time in the coming weeks before sending him out on loan for the second half of the 2020-21 campaign.
