Backing Mikel gets harder by the day, but the club should.

Morning all. I suppose there’s a couple of talking points from yesterday’s defeat. The darn right stupidity from Xhaka followed by another stupid moment by Elneny. I understood the foul on the halfway line to stop Burnley from breaking away but just take the booking and walk away. Xhaka didn’t because for some bizarre reason he thought it was a good idea to grab a Burnley player around the throat. With VAR in operation, there was only ever going to be one outcome. The yellow card retracted, a red card shown in it’s place. Xhaka will now miss the next three games. Hoorah I hear you cheer.
