Guendouzi transfer situation confirmed by chief after impressive Hertha form
Matteo Guendouzi has had his transfer situation confirmed after an impressive start to life at Hertha Berlin. The Frenchman was loaned out in the transfer window by Arsenal after he fell out of favour under Mikel Arteta. It came after a show of petulance against Brighton last season when he grabbed Neal Maupay by the throat. He did not play again under Arteta's watch and was offloaded as he looked to clear out the 'bad eggs' at the club. But the former Lorient star has found form at Hertha Berlin and started well in the Bundesliga.
