Arsenal’s early emergence for the second half of their clash with Southampton spoke volumes about Mikel Arteta’s team talk during the interval. The Gunners were in need of a win against Saints on Wednesday night after suffering their worst start to a top-flight campaign since 1974/75. They got off to the worst start possible at The Emirates, with former player Theo Walcott firing the visitors in front after 18 minutes.
