Arsenal 'open talks with Rob Holding over new contract'

Arsenal have reportedly entered negotiations with Rob Holding over a new contract at the Emirates Stadium. The 25-year-old has struggled with injuries for a large chunk of his Gunners career, but Holding has been a key player for Mikel Arteta's side this season with 14 appearances in all competitions. Holding is currently contracted to the struggling North London outfit until the end of the 2022-23 campaign, and the centre-back was supposedly close to leaving on loan for Newcastle United in the summer.
