Rob Holding 'poised to sign new long-term Arsenal deal'

Rob Holding is reportedly on the verge of penning a new long-term deal with Arsenal. The 25-year-old was strongly linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium over the summer, with a number of clubs, including Leeds United and Newcastle United, thought to be interested in a loan deal. Holding has been a key player for the Gunners this term, though, making 17 appearances in all competitions, and he recently captained Mikel Arteta's side against Everton.
