Chelsea in talks with experienced Prem man as star nears exit
Chelsea are in talks with Stoke’s Asmir Begovic as they look towards life without Petr Cech, according to reports from Goal. The Blues look set to lose their No.2 goalkeeper this summer following his season as Thibaut Courtois’ back-up, with Arsenal believed to be leading the race for the 33-year-old. Although Cech is Jose Mourinho’s alternative stopper, the London club are keen to draft in a replacement to provide cover for their Belgian glovesman, and reports suggest that discussions with Begovic are underway.
