Shkodran Mustafi has joined Schalke on a permanent basis after he reached an agreement with Arsenal to terminate his contract early. The 28-year-old joins Sead Kolasinac in Gelsenkirchen just weeks after the left-back returned to his former club on loan. Mustafi joined Arsenal in the summer of 2016 from Valencia for a fee of £35m.
