The world's most popular sports teams on social media
A survey was recently conducted to find out the most popular sports teams on social media based on their likes on Facebook and followers on Twitter. The list was dominated by football teams or soccer as they call it in America with a total of 17 football teams making the Top 30. Spanish giants Real Madrid Club de Futbol and Futbol Club Barcelona continued their fight here too. Both clubs dominated the list with more than 25 million (in total) than the other teams.
