Arsenal, Liverpool To Do Battle For Carlos Bacca
It has been reported that Liverpool are eyeing a move for Sevilla star Carlos Bacca as Reds manager Brendan Rodgers looks to reinforce his attacking line-up this summer. Aston Villa's Christian Benteke had been mentioned as the primary target recently but now according to reports from the Liverpool Echo, Rodgers has shifted his attention to signing Bacca instead. Bacca, who is also linked with Arsenal, managed an impressive 28 goals last season, helping Sevilla to the Europa League title and it is believed that the Merseysiders are looking to lure the Colombian to Anfield for a fee of around £20million.
