Arsenal close in on £50million White transfer after face-to-face talks
Arsenal are edging closer to completing a £50million deal for Brighton defender Ben White after holding face-to-face talks with the player's representatives. Mikel Arteta's side are in the market for a new central defender this summer and quickly turned their attention to the 23-year-old, who featured heavily for Graham Potter's side last campaign. The Gunners saw an opening £40m bid for White rejected one week ago but are understood to have made progress in their pursuit of the England international and are confident of securing his services. Negotiations between the two Premier League clubs are now 'progressing' and a deal is 'not far off', according to a latest report by the Athletic....
