Arsenal 'open talks with Sheffield United's Aaron Ramsdale'
Arsenal have supposedly opened talks over a move for Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. The 23-year-old was unable to save the Blades from relegation to the Championship last term - his second successive demotion following Bournemouth's doomed 2019-20 campaign. However, the Englishman could supposedly be set for a return to the top flight with Arsenal, who are thought to be in the market for a new shot-stopper to provide competition or take over from Bernd Leno. Now, The Athletic reports that technical director Edu has touched base with Sheffield United to discuss a possible transfer, but the Blades will not sanction a sale on the cheap.
