Sassuolo CEO confirms Arsenal have made Manuel Locatelli bid
 Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali has confirmed that Arsenal have made an official bid for Manuel Locatelli. The 23-year-old enjoyed a strong 2020-21 campaign at club level, scoring four times and providing three assists in 34 Serie A appearances, while he has also been in impressive form for Italy at Euro 2020. A recent report claimed that Arsenal had made an opening bid for the midfielder, with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta keen to bring him to the Emirates Stadium during this summer's transfer window.
