Mikel Arteta fires dig at Arsenal stars refusing to get Covid vaccine jab
Mikel Arteta aimed a small swipe at some members of his Arsenal squad who have refused to take the Covid-19 vaccine. Arsenal lost their opening Premier League clash with newly-promoted Brentford during the first matchday. However, Arsenal were without four first-team players due to positive Covid-19 tests: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Willian, and Alex Runarsson. There is no suggestion the four are among those who have refused a jab. The Spaniard wasn't happy the game was allowed to go ahead due to the absence of some of the star players.
