Former Arsenal youth prospect and Birmingham star Sam Oji dies aged 35 after illness

Former Arsenal youth prospect and Birmingham City star Sam Oji has passed away at the age of 35 after an illness, it has been confirmed. Oji, who most recently was an assistant at Highgate United, began his career in the Gunners academy before signing his first professional contract with Birmingham in 2004. He played in the Football League for Doncaster Rovers, Leyton Orient, Hereford United and Bristol Rovers and also had spells at Tamworth, Limerick, Galway United, Worcester City and Hednesford United.
