Southampton To Beat Arsenal For Marseille Midfielder Giannelli Imbula
According to reports from mirror.co.uk, Southampton are believed to be on the verge of signing Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula for £15million. Imbula is seen by Saints manager Ronald Koeman as a replacement for the outgoing Morgan Schneiderlin, who looks set to complete a move to Manchester United this week. Arsenal, Inter Milan, FC Porto and Tottenham are all said to be interested in Imbula, but the 22-year-old Belgian is understood to favour a move to St Mary's Stadium, where he will have the opportunity to compete in the Europa League with Southampton this season.
