£21million: Arsenal quoted price to sign highly rated French international
Arsenal have been given fresh impetus in our reported attempts to land Alexandre Lacazette after Lyon stated their price for the French international, The Telegraph reports. Lacazette caught the attention of the footballing world last season by scoring 27 league goals in 33 appearances, putting him behind only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo across Europe's top five leagues (via Squawka). Having previously stated that they will not accept anything below 50million for Lacazette (via The Guardian), it seems as though they've lowered their asking price with contract talks hitting a snag, as per The Telegraph.
