Man City ready to sell Raheem Sterling in summer if contract stand-off is not resolved

Manchester City will reluctantly listen to offers for Raheem Sterling this summer – if they fail to agree a new deal with him by then. The in-form England winger, 27, is into the last 18 months of his current contract and talks over extending his stay remain firmly ‘on ice’, according to City insiders. The club have not abandoned hope on the matter but fear the longer the stalemate persists, the less likely he is to commit. Sterling, despite his recent superb run with the League leaders, remains concerned about commanding a regular starting place under Pep Guardiola. Discussions on a new contract began way back in September in 2020 but have been on pause since this time last year....
