Arsenal's XI and where they are now 10 years on from infamous AC Milan thrashing
On a near-freezing night in Italy 10 years ago today, Arsenal were dealt a cruel lesson in European football after facing AC Milan. Led by Massimiliano Allegri, the Serie A champions thrashed the Gunners 4-0 in an embarrassing evening for Arsene Wenger. Kevin-Prince Boateng opened the scoring before Manchester City flop Robinho added a double. Zlatan Ibrahimovic rubbed salt in the wounds when he powered a late penalty in before standing out with his arms outstretched, soaking up the roars of the San Siro crowd. Remarkably, Arsenal made a comeback of sorts in the second leg after scoring three in the first-half but that impetus fizzled out after the break and Milan clung on to emerge 4-3...
