Arsenal to battle Man City for signing of Brazil wonderkid, 17, as £5.5m bid is tabled
Arsenal will battle it out with Premier League rivals Manchester City for the signature of 17-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Savio. The Gunners, along with the Red Bull group which includes RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg, were reportedly leading the race for the teenage Atletico Mineiro winger after making contact with the South American club in December. But according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Man City have now launched their own £5.5million bid plus add-ons which threatens to hijack Arsenal’s interest.
