Jose Mourinho tried to sign Arsenal flop Willian before Gunners nightmare ended
Former Arsenal wide man Willian has revealed that Jose Mourinho tried to take him to Roma before he sealed a return to his native Brazil. The 33-year-old Corinthians winger suffered a horror season at Arsenal last term, with just one goal and 7 assists in 37 appearances. Willian cancelled his Arsenal contract and was being chased by several top European clubs, including Lyon, Milan and Mourinho’s Roma.
