William Saliba decides future path as Arsenal plot new contract for Marseille loanee

Arsenal are reportedly readying talks with William Saliba over a new contract with the young centre-back excelling at Marseille whilst out on loan. Despite failing to make a first-team appearance for the Gunners, Saliba, 20, has thrived since making the move south, missing just two matches for The Pharoceans all season. Jorge Sampaoli's side sit second in the Ligue 1 table, behind league-leaders PSG, and look destined to qualify for the Champions League. As a result, Arsenal are keen to reward his performances with a new contract.
