Arsenal make U-turn on Dominic Calvert-Lewin ahead of summer hunt for striker

Arsenal have reportedly backed off in their pursuit of Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The Gunners had been strongly linked with the Toffees forward, 25, as Mikel Arteta looks to reshape his attack ahead of next season. The Arsenal boss looks set to lose Alexandre Lacazatte and Eddie Nketiah in the summer, which would leave Folarin Balogun, 20, as their only recognised striker. Calvert-Lewin had been mooted as a possible signing, with rumours circulating about a move during the January transfer window.
