Mesut Ozil 'down to two choices' for his next club as Hull battle for ex-Arsenal star
Mesut Ozil is reportedly down to 'two choices' as he searches for his next club after his time at Fenerbahce took a dramatic downturn. Ozil has fallen out with the Turkish club's chiefs and now looks set to leave Istanbul as soon as an agreement can be reached over the termination of his contract. The German only joined Fenerbahce in January 2021 after the offered him an escape route out of Arsenal. His time in Turkey had started well and he has also scored eight goals so far this campaign. But at the end of March, Ozil was hauled off at half-time of a win over Konyaspor before head coach Ismail Kartal opted to exclude him from the squad altogether.
